The Mackintosh of Strone family are a branch of the Clan Mackintosh descended from Donald Glas, a natural son of William Mackintosh of Dunachton, 13th Chief of the Clan Mackintosh.
Is more of this wonderful map available? I especially liked the spelling of Dalcross ( Dacus) and the indication of a church at Croy. I had thought that in those days the Kirk was at Dalcross and only moved to Croy rather later. I wonder if anyone has the Croy Church.history published years bac
Originally from Nebraska. I have a beautiful wife of twenty years plus three beautiful children. I have been researching my McIntoshes since 1995 when I started with my great grandfather, Hugh James McIntosh.
